Can anybody skip work with me? I am using my alias... so my boss wont know I need to skip work...
I need to run the Sky today and would like to leave withing the next 2 hours be up there by 11am?
ANyone in?

I was up there yesterday at 2:30. Thursdays are easier to skip because they don't expect it!

OMG the Green came up! I think I will go there right now!!!!!!! Wait, maybe a powerhouse run to test out the new creeker then go to the Green to play in the play boat....

Well why aren't you guys calling me? I'm lookin to get out on the water today, the only catch is, you have to call me. I am currently hindered by one way communication: I can't call you, but you can call me...

I knew what I was getting into last night when I was surrounded by a bunch of beer swilling river maggots: All sorts of people talking about how they were going paddling today. Anticipating the diffusion that could follow today, I made a few plans...
One such paddler in our little local waterbasin wanted do the Top Tye today. He was supposed to call me this morning to form the plan. No call. No' yes or no', 'paddling'/'notpaddling'. Nothing. Fortunately, I thought throughout the morning, One of my most dependable fellow boaters was going to call me regarding Robe. He only had to work till noon. But now it's 1/4 to 1pm and I haven't heard from him either. Must've had too many Black Opals last night.
So, whoever calls me first-- we'll choose a run and go boat!

wow. I guess you're right. It is becoming concievable that everyone west of the cascades could be trying to reach me right now! Brian was talking about hitting up the Sky later.
James, what're you doin? Green Paradise?
Brian what time do you want to meet? Where?

I am going to hit Paradise tonight and then I am going to probably camp out in the general vicinity. Waking up early with a stove, garbage bags, 4 slabs of bacon, a few eggs and some coffee.... paddle into the heart of the canyon and enjoy an early breakfast while watching the first wave of cleaners float by or would it be floaters clean by?. I will of course plan on performing my cleaning duties on run numero duex. Should the need arise I might try to do a little cleaning at paradise too  get it.... get it!!!

Im leaving work to run home and get the cooler, then up to the sky. I should be there by 430-5ish depending on traffic. Ill hang out at split rock for a while and see if anyone shows. If not ill skip over to leavenworth were Im heading anyway.

i think we should all chip in and help JP get his phone back, since now you can neither call in nor call out from it....or jp, just show up where you want to paddle and expect people to be there. you have really good river karma, so i am sure such a plan would work...
