There is a group of us running the Little Wenatchee today and I will try to rally the group to run the Cooper tomorrow. Hopefully it does not drop too much more but it should come back up next week with the forecasted hot weather. If it does not come together tomorrow you should come run the Icicle...

The cooper will certainly come back up there is a good amount of snow up in those hills. I was out there all this last week. Got some river time every day except thursday. The inflow numbers are also heavy on the Cooper side now. So unlike that early season runs we were doing where the cle was givin a bit of water now it is mostly coming down the coop. This should be a pretty dang good coop year because it was not super hot days blowing the pack out... Have fun runs out there and keep an eye out for the new wood listed on the river page. (It is in the double ledge just above S-Turn). You basically run that little slide ledge into the pool then the next little slide has wood you will have to run left on hard against the wall and over the wood.

I have monday and tuesday off to boat next week so if it doesn't come together tomorrow its no big deal.

Lief told me that I should wait until the flow is under 1K to run it for the first time, but you guys are talking like its low right now???

Post up if you're heading out there. Might have the day open and would like to hit it up if the flows are in the right range.

Ray the cooper is fine as long as it is not too much over 1200 cfs... at around 1600 it starts getting a little wild. The 2000 zone is where it starts getting to be a real rascal. Late season flows are always higher than early season flows because of where the snow is at. This monday I did a run at 2k and it felt more like a run well over 2k compared to earlier season flows.

I am going to try to head out to the Cooper tomorrow (Monday). I don't get off work til 10:00 and will leave the Kirkland area around 11:00, probably try to catch people on their second lap. If anyone can work around that time frame a wants to car pool give me a call 530-320-0257, if I don't answer I will get back to you when I get off around 10:00 am tomorrow.

just a heads up... did a lap yesterday (sunday) and it's low and dropping.  the heat this next week should bump things up some.  still lots of snow up high!
