One of the logs in Log Choke floated down past Box Drop. It is blocking the normal route in the boulder garden (river right) below Box Drop and above Initiation. It is perpendicular to the current at river level. Does not appear it will float out unless it gets 'real' high again. It might need some summertime beaver encouragment to go away.

Not a portage? Guess I'll have to take a look.

Sounds like a portage near the rootball above Initiation... definitely not a good spot for a big old piece of wood... really bumming.

Somebody I know seems to think that it might be kinda good now that Log Choke is wood free.  go figure...

Mike, it's at least 100' above the rootball...unless it moves.
