One of my pastimes is keeping an eye on the used boat market & occasionally picking up something interesting.

Other than Professor Paddle(FSBO), Craigslist and the WKC, where might I look for used boats locally?

On a related note, anyone else notice that there seems to be fewer used boats on the market? A couple of years ago, the market was saturated with used boats. There would be 2-3 pages of used boats every day on BoaterTalk. Now, there seems to be a couple of days worth of ads per page.

it is probably due to the economy, people are still buying new boats but much less, hence the less used boats on the market.  You hit the main sites, but also look into all the local Yahoo Paddling Group Sites such as PDX Kayaker and IEWhitewater.

I also have some used/ demos to let go of, so take a look

NRS has free classified listings... the listings there are all over, but there's usually a high percentage of PacNW listings.

Speaking of which, Slick... there's a gal selling a Lynx in Wenatchee on there if you're still looking.

Thanks Tony.

Slickhorn... kudos to you for taking advantage of a perfect lead in. You weren't quite was slick about it as Tony was, but you did step right up and offer up your boat. :-)

I'm more or less looking for an adult sized playboat/riverrunner. Something along the lines of a WaveSport Z, Super EZ or Large Fluid Flirt or ??? I'm not really properly motivated or funded to go so far as to post in the wanted section, but I do like to keep an eye on such things.

I'm not interested in the riverrunner/creeker typ stuff like the diesel and that sort. If I'm going to give up cartwheelability, I'll just paddle a creeker(but feel free to slip in and post it).

I have a kind of odd variety of boats that may be trade material.

Whoops... sorry... it's a Farce, not a Lynx. :(

I have a Wave Sport ForPlay I'm intending to sell. Haven't posted yet since I haven't found what I'm going to replace it with, but I won't be paddling anytime soon, so it may as well go now.

Thank you ProfessorPaddlePeoples.

Thanks to you, I am slightly poorer, have less room in the garage, but have a shiny new used SuperEZ. :-)

Sweet! Every era has its nice designs and its lemons. The EZ is a good boat design.
