It looks like next weekend might be the crux weekend for frog flows. I have Friday off so, I plan on heading over Friday and surfing in the afternoon.

I will be staying at Skihist Campground.

Anyone else want to go?

I'm interested but have class until 4.30 PM on Friday so perhaps will meet you up there. This is my first week living in Seattle area and I'm looking forward to checking out the "local" surf spot...

I wouldn't really call the thompson local.

I might push the date back a weekend if the flows don't drop below 400 cms. We were there at this level a couple weeks ago and the wave was a little too fast to get on the far side.

On the plus side there may be water that is truly local this weekend!

The gauge is stuck reporting flows from Monday. I am going to call Kumsheen Rafting tomorrow morning and get the current info.

As of now I am planning on going over and hanging out with a friend in the area Friday, and boating the Thompson Saturday and Sunday. I'll be staying in Winfield with a friend, so why don't we plan on meeting at 10AM at the Skihist Picnic area off Hwy 1 Saturday morning?

The gauge is back online, and shows the river at 443ish and dropping steadily. If the trend continues the flows should be around 410-420 and 80 degree weather for the weekend!

I am about to head out. I should have phone and internet in Winfield, so let me know if anyone is coming.

I'm thinking hard about going up tomorrow morning and returning Sunday afternoon. Have a "prior obligation" to figure out this afternoon before I know for sure tho'.

That works for me. I am staying with a friend, so I won't be there until tomorrow morning anyways.
