This is the PP Ball Peshastin Creek Trip discussion thread. Please post any questions below.

Remember the actual Trip Details are located on the http://Professorpaddle.com/ppages/rte/tripdetails.asp?task=View&TripId=783 - PP Ball Peshastin Creek Trip | Trip Page

This trip is designed so that paddlers of all levels can participate.

We will meet at the takeout by 8:45am so we can load up cars and get on the river early enough to make it to the rodeo.

On the way up we will drop off those looking to run the lower II+ run at the Hwy 97 bridge over P-Creek.  The rest of us will head up to the put-in (97 or Ingalls Creek depending on water levels and interest).  We will pick up the remining paddlers on the way down.

Pretty sure I'm in to help on this or possibly another beginner run on the Upper Wenatchee later in the day...

We'll see. I'm skeptical about (weather I'll be able to motivate for) the early start. Just remember that unforseen things happen on the river (esspecially if "Lewis" shows up!)
that may delay your intended take out time.

If Ingall's is pumpin, That will sweeten the pot for me.

Ingals will be pumping.  A heads up though, there was/is a log above the Squeeze that was not in play this past weekend but with more water could potentially pose a serious hazard above the squeeze.  It was sticking out diagonally from the Rvr RT but you could move left easily as the raft had no problem.  This likely will change with the levels coming up so just take a look before bombing the Squeeze.

I'm assuming you are refering to Fresh Squeezed not a different sqeeze on the Ingalls Creek run.

So my Girlfriend and I are just getting into kayaking. We're run the Tolt and the Methow together so far.

We've got our own gear but we are hesitant to run anything by ourselves. I know you said this is a trip for all levels. Neither of us have our rolls down, if you're comfortable with a little bit of babysitting we'd love the opportunity to join a trip.

No roll should be ok for the lower section as long as you are fairly stable in the boat.  My dad will be running the lower section and he only has a mediocre river roll.  This section is probably rated 2+ or so.

Sweet. I'm trying to get some friends to run the American River (American Forks to Sawmill Flat) so that I can ski on Chinook Pass one day and make it a full weekend trip. If I can't get anyone to bite we'll see you there.

Looks like we will have a tleast 12 people now (counting my dad and I) so we might split into two groups since the creek is small and eddies can be on the small side.  We'll figure this out at the takeout before running shuttle.

Can I join in the fun?  For my paddling resume, check out bayareawwk.blogspot.com

Have been doing some sporadic sole paddling since coming to WA and would love to hook up with fellow paddlers
