Some or should I say most of you have dogs. This is my little buddy, next time I go camping with you guys, you better keep the dogs on leash or my little buddy may have himself a little snack!!!!!

Someday he will be 12 feet long...I hope he doesn't think I am food????

Besides a Duck that might actually be in the runner up category for the best Kayaking pet... So long as it did not try to eat you everytime you went for a roll.

How big is the gator now dave?

Its only about 18 inches long and its not mine. I believe it is against federal law to have one of these in captivity, so I will not say who it belongs to, nor will I confirm the owner even if threatened with captivity myself...This little guy is called Boots and has a genetic defect that does not allow him to grow very much, he probably wont get much larger than two feet during his life cycle. Poor Boots, I would like to see him reach his full potential. I wonder if he would rescue me if I were to swim again?

We've got a "little buddy" that might try and give that gator a run for its money... if you drizzeled a little bacon grease on him first.
