I was so moved after watching this video I wanted to share it with others. Here is a brief description...
 
On June 16, 1963, Buddhist monk Thich Quang Duc immolated himself in downtown Saigon.
Quang Duc was actually protesting religious persecution under the Diem regime.
After his death, his body was re-cremated, but his heart remained intact. This was interpreted as a symbol of compassion and led Buddhists to revere him as a bodhisattva, heightening the impact of his death on the public psyche.

Sounds like someone needs to practice their cremation techniques.  Just kidding, the burning monk photo is one of the most famous in history.  It represents the limits of what the mind can do.  Incredible protest that will never be forgotten.
