Second go round. I am planning another (first one never happened) low water gear recovery run on the Chehalis River in BC. The plan so far is to put in on Statlu Creek and take out at the fishing access by the highway. Meeting at Lowes Hardware off of Sunset Dr in Bellingham at 8:30AM.

Any beta on whether the Statlu section is in or not?  Looking at the suggested gauges, and one shows too high, the other shows too low...

Leif,

I am guesing it will be low. I was told that Statlu only flows when there is a ton of rain which we have not had. I want to do a low water run anyway because I am hoping it will make recovery of the lost throw rope possible. I am going to call the hatchery tomorrow to find out what the actual flows are on the Chehalis.

I just talked to the guys at Western Canoe and Kayak and they said the Chehalis should be at a decent level now.
