The idea was sparked when some of the DragoRossi Team was rummaging through the back of their neighboring kayak factory (Rainbow) in Italy.  What they found was an old school Rocket Ship of a boat.  So they cleaned it up and rolled it to the Drago Factory and Roto'd up a couple in the high tech, super strong, DragoRossi Plastic for a downriver race in Europe.  The result was a stright running bullet of a boat.  The 'Reaction' as its called, produced a lot of buzz on some US Sites, so I had the boys at DragoRossi mold me up a few and shove them into my US bound container.  I have sold 2 out of the 4 and it will be well worth it with those races with no maximum length.

Below is the Reaction sitting next to DragoRossi's CriticalMass.  the CriticalMass' length is 8'11", just to give some perspective.

Laugh at it now, it may be an old boat, but you won't be so ammused when if rockets past you on the river!

Hey I said it a million times. ONLY a matter of time befor elong boats come back into vogue.

It's simple: No single baot design can possibly "do it all". Many of you kids scoff at the idea of a long boat because you've never paddled one and thus don't know how awesome it can feel.

I can't speak for that yellow boat (Tony Z-- can you post some larger pics of it? I'll try to find better pics on your site), but I'm definitely on the look out for new longboat designs.

IMONHEO (that stands for: "In My Often Not Humble Enough Opinion"), Old longboats predating the early 90's typicly did not have enough rocker, while everything after the late 90's has WAY TOO MUCH rocker. The Diablo, at 9'9" was near the sweet spot, but may have too much rocker. It would be nice to see you guys explore the sweet spot as far as long boat rocker goes.

Yeah, Tony. Exciting to see you guys thinking LONGterm about this sport!

LONGterm...haha...he made a funny.  I will take a few more pics and post them soon.  This thing is a Rocket!  I've got 2 left for $950, fully outfitted.  I got to paddle one this last weekend on the white mile of the EFL and it jets, a bit tippy compared to the displacement hulls, but reacted nicely, hence the name 'Reaction'

Does it comewith a seat for $950??
Hip Pads??

I know you said fully outfitted, but that can be a loosly defined term. Especially in Italy.

Yes- i live down on the East Fork Lewis and plan to have a demo with me when I get around Seattle, or drop me a line and demo it for a few days.
