There is anywhere from 1 to 3 feet of snow on the road and lots and lots of river wide wood in the river presently.

Thanks for the report.  What was the flow like and is there a lot of wood in the last mile and a half?

The wood I am talking about refers only to the bottom section and there really is lots and lots of blocking wood.  Some of it will submerge as water levels rise but then others will come into play.  The river was low but if you are a dedicated ELF boater.......

Bummer. That is a very fun, unobstructed (used to be) continuous run. I fear that many of the runs in the upper Sky basin may be the same way. The Tye, for example. Sucks because there are so many runs yet up there that I haven't done.

Yep... last year the lower Tye was screwed up... the best rapids filled in with monster size wood... the kind you can expect to stick around for years.
