So yeah there still is a lot of snow up there, but I thought I'd throw this out from a previous shoeing expedition into the creek as time is getting close.  The avalanches up there haven't been kind to the Franklin stretch.  Mass amount of wood has been deposited by a slide in the boulder garden below Franklin.  I'm expecting this stuff will either stay put (preferable) or move downstream and lodge somewhere else inconvenient (not preferable).  There is a new piece of inopportune wood now in the runout ledges below Limbo and above the Foursome.  It will be in play when the water comes up.  Would be good to head in and do a little selective logging as a portion of the wood is being held to the right bank by roots so not thinking flows will move it.

For Limbo and the 4some, are you talking about wood so big that you do not think it will wash down stream as the river comes up?

Probably a foot to 18 inches or so in diameter.  Yeah not going to wash down stream as the rootball it's attached to is still holding the right bank above.

Poor Frankie   He was in bad shape last year, sounds much worse this year.  Those few years when Frank was wood-free were mighty fine times.

Appreciate the information.  Sounds like it's beaver time.
