This is the Ocean Surfing discussion thread. Please post any questions below.

Remember the actual Trip Details are located on the Ocean Surfing | Trip Page

I'll be hitting up something around the westport area on the 16th. If the surf's not in then maybe a trip out to perfection falls for some good old fashioned park'n'huck will be in store.

Looks like the surf is gonna be pretty big out there, might have to hit one of the more sheltered spots. Predicted swells 17-18 feet. Anybody in?

Maybe,  ?  camping out the night before?  Shoulder massage after?

Hey Yotes!

Count me in for another Westport session. The last time we went out there it was epic!  Stoked to fire it up again with even bigger predicted swells.

Forecast calls for Saturday to be best but i'm game for either day.  Most stuff around here is too low and with the 5 day forecast calling for little to no rain,  looks to be the best idea going!

Lets make it a full day,  are you crashing in Oly or at my place?

I can camp out the night before, but I won't be in till late (after the reception) I'm in a wedding saturday, so sunday is the only day I can do it. I'll be crashing in Montesano friday night, so camping near westport saturday after the festivities sounds like a great idea.

Oh, and Tobin, you're on your own for the shoulder massage.

Sounds good.  I'm going to head out there Sunday morning all my camping stuff got ruined in the floods we had a while ago.

Say  10am,  Westhaven State Park  for a meet time and place?

Two good ideas. Move to the beach, so you don't have to plan these kinds of things. Then go skiing with me this weekend instead.

I couldn't go skiing anyways, since I'm busy all day saturday, and don't have lift ticket money.

17-18 ft?!

This sounds sick, especially the part about hitting a sheltered area.  I gotta see how studying goes, I have finals all next week, but I would be interested.
