Hi, I just moved to Tacoma a week ago and am hoping to network with some boaters in the local area.  I've done the Tieton once and the Middle Middle a couple times with a great group of Seattle paddlers, but would like to find some Tacoma boaters so carpooling and after-work runs are easier :)

A bit about me...  I'm a 23 yr old gal, just graduated from college in CO.  I'm a solid class III-IV paddler.  If you're familiar with CO whitewater...I've done most of my boating on the Ark (Numbers, Browns, Royal Gorge), Roaring Fork (Slaughterhouse) and Colorado (Gore Canyon, Shoshone, Westwater)...and this summer I was lucky enough to do trips on the Middle Fork of the Salmon in ID and Cataract Canyon in UT.

I'm free every weekend and have flexible weekday afternoons.  My e-mail's ariannemorrison@yahoo.com.  Any chance the Green will be runnable Monday after tomorrow's rain??

Thanks, Arianne

Check out the pool sessions at the University of Puget Sound on Monday and Thursday nights.  That's how I met most of my boating buddies when I was on that side of the state.

Hola'
I live in Gig Harbor and paddle about 2-3 days a week,  if the Green comes up, I am hitting it Monday or Tuesday.  If it's Monday, I will be ending with a pool session at UPS.
  Welcome to the area.

Oh, and the Grren isn't rain dependant, it's Dam Nazi dependant!
If they ramp it up, it usually sticks for at least a few days.

Cool, another Colorado boater. I spent some time there too. For sure I'm going to do a trip down the Upper Green River Gorge this weekend, if it's running, and would like to hit Fall In The Wall on the S. fork Snoqualmi too.
Sounds like your qualified for these runs, so keep your eyes open for the trip posts and your more than welcome to join.
Sorry I don't live in Tacoma, but there are some guys down there that will probably join my trips too. Funny, is your last name Morrison also?
