...seemed to be a dearth of a professor paddlers at the AW beer function/fundraiser last night.  It was a fun evening that you all missed which helped to support our brothas and sistahs that work hard to keep our rivers open and accessible.

Yeah, bummed that I couldn't be there, but 5th avenue on a weekday afternoon makes me homicidal

whatever it is I think I see becomes a big fat crack too me. Bad, bad, bad. Oh and sorry I missed out but beer is so last week. Try a fund raiser with 25 cent huffing and you might have a bigger turn out. Or Cool aid. Never mind, that idea is as bad as the crack pic! Bud dum pum....cha!!!

Thanks for getting the word out on this site about the AW fundraiser.  I just moved to seattle on sunday and it was great to go have a great beer for a great cause.

I was there - good tasy beer, but I only work a block away so it was easy to go.  Once the beer started flowing, the raffle tickets seemed to be selling faster.

AW should have another one - maybe at a more convenient time\location - this was the first local benie of theirs that I had heard of.   Plus, I am always up for having a beer that isn't coming from a bootie.

AW really should have more things like this.

And make them OPEN FOR MINORS. =)

Thanks to all who came out. The event had great turn out and we raised over $1000. Rock Bottom approached us about the event through one of our members so their marketing folks picked the time/place. We have limited staff for event planning so to the extent folks are interested in helping coordinate these things we certainly appreciate it. Thank you Rock Bottom!
