No, I think I'm looking for a shorter boat, more manuverable.

I don't know about Jackson, I've heard mixed things about them from the people I boat with.

If you're looking for manuverable a CFS is an awesome boat. Kind of holebait, though.

The Rocker and Mamba are both manuverable. The Habitat is actually a little tricky to turn.

Whatever it is that you decide on, demo it first. Don't waste your time on a boat that you might end up despising.

The Habitat is an awsome boat, so are the Bliss Stick Huka and Mystics,,
Just demo a few and get the one you feel best about.
Hukas are stickier in holes than other bigger boats, but the manuverality makes up for it.
------------- Sure?

The Burn will be an easier transition from a playboat, vs something like the Mega Rocker.

How many years has it been since freefalls were made? I paddled one
back around '92 or so - & the bulk of them were made roughly that
long ago. I'd seriously worry about the durability of the plastic in a
boat from that era. Even if it was stored perfectly & not abused in
any way. I've seen more than one properly cared for boat (Perception,
Dagger, etc) just disintegrate in class 3 rapids at the 6-10 year mark...
