Anyone want to go over to Tum on Sat?  I know there are a few guys (john, josh??) who were talking that way...  let me know.  I'm down, but I need to be back to Index before 5, so we'd need to get on the river by 11.

Dude I could be into a double down day... Sky and Tumwater but you would have to put on the tumwater around.... oh say like 2 pm. If D1 and D4 are into it I am too!

James,

How about we go do Tum first, and then come back and do the sky. I need
to be at a meeting in Index at 4-5ish, so that would work better for me. We
can all carpool :-) And we can watch D1 be hole bait in 1/4 mile and POW...
f**k yeah!

lemme call him up and see what the plan is...

There are some other folks already counting on the sky trip so I can't throw that down the tubes just yet. I will be back with details for sure.

TUMWATER PLAN FINAL! We are running the Sky at 10am sharp. We will be
heading to Tum at Noon, taking one car probably, depending on interest.
We will be getting to Tum around 1pm at the top of 1/4 mile. We will put in
there and paddle down, ending around 3ish. Hope to see you all for the
double.

Awesome stuff Dave! I can't wait to see more. Fun running with ya'll. Also,
as far as the meeting I missed... We turned into index as my meeting people
were leaving and turning onto Hwy 2 to go home. We caught them at
litterally the perfect time. 30 seconds later and it would have been gone.
Hope to see ya'll at the pool tomorrow night... I promise I'll make it to this
one!

Mr Blum,

Dave was a little upset with our activity on tumwater yesterday. He said enough was enough with the dam looping.

James,

Until you can loop from the edge of the dam and land flat heading down the
face of it (like a Hail Mary), there will never be enough dam looping. The
only problem with this move is that to practice it, you must do it, and if you
do it wrong, you will rip your face off the entire way down the dam.... your
boat would laugh at you and say, "Its about time you felt what its like to get
scraped down a cement structure on your head..."

dave, those are some really nice pictures.  i would love to see what else you got that day ( i don't really care about those other posers, just me...unless you happenend to catch josh rearranging his face).  oh yeah, 4 hours and 6 stitches later, we emerged from the monroe hospital.

I wouldn't say he 'rearranged' it.. it was more of a modification.... he didn't
swim AND finished the run... I'd say he did preyy well... well done Josh

Besides, now Josh and I have matching scars from our boating related injuries...  mine's from the Cascade during summer 2004.  His was quite a bit cleaner though...
