Anyone interested in a white salmon weekend? I have this weekend through next weekend off and was thinking of heading down to the white salmon for the weekend and possibly boating other stuff and/or riding at Mt. Hood during the week.
Afternoon run on Saturday and then two on Sunday??
I'm heading out of Seattle and carpooling would be rad.

Ryan,
Do you want to do the middle, or interested in running green truss/
farmlands? I was planning a trip for those in some of the upcoming
weekends... what are you thinking?

I want to do a couple runs on the middle section, one in my playboat,
one in my creeker. I could be talked into running farmlands but
I've never run anything like that before...but I'm always willing to
try new things :)

I'm not sure if I can come down yet. I may have to work, but if not, I would
be up for it. I've only run the Farmlands once, and wouldn't feel comfortable
leading that strech... its pretty full on, and althhough there aren't any huge
drops like the Green Truss, it has some tight sections that are pushing Class
V. If you go, take someone who knows it, and don't swim over lava dam or
ski jump... esp ski jump.. that would be real ugly. There is a trip report for
it on my website if you want to check it out.

Hey Jblum, been following the Cali trip, nice TR on the creeking. Myself and two or three buddies are heading down for Hood River for the weekend, maybe a three dayer we'll see. Probaly running Truss/Lil White if you want to join. We ran Farmlands both days last weekend and aren't too stoked on repeating it for a while.

Hey Hey ...
I may be up for the White Salmon as well. If I do head down I'd like to paddle something besides the BZ corner/Husum Falls section. Green Truss, Farmlands, whatever. I'm down with any of it.
I have to find out about work tonight though. I'll check in tonight or tomorrow.

Since my name is next to trip leader I'm trying to get things organized for tomorrow.
Let's meet at BZ at 1:00pm. Leave Seattle at 8:00am (ug). I'd like to meet at a park and ride or something. Any suggestions? REI downtown is easy too.
So lots of talk about Farmlands and Green Truss but I'm still interested in the main run. Anyone else?
I have 1 two man tent and some other camping stuff. I also have 2 good sleeping bags if anyone needs to borrow one. The last place I stayed was really far away. Anybody know of a better place?

We may end up heading for the OP as it looks like levels have risen very nicely out there. I guess if all that goes to hell you'll see the three of us in the gorge, Farmlands is a good low flow (last weekend it was kinda fun) Truss is on the bigger side but should be fine. If anyone wants to meet up for the OP creeking let me know.

Hey I am heading into Portland tomorrow and pciking up a boat. I would want to run the BZ section and can meet there say12:30-1. I'm debating bringing my creeker too, but not sure I want to run the Truss whe it's this cold. Maybe canyon creek if anyone's interested. I've never run anything down there.

Tobin, I don't think we can make it to the white salmon that
early. I'm definitly not in for the e fork lewis. I need a
few runs in my creek boat first.
It looks like there are 3 for sure running the middle section: Ryan
(me), Michael (riding with me), and Kirk. We are meeting at BZ
Corner at 1:00.
JP may join us if he doesn't hook up with another crew to run something besides bz to husum.
Jon/Josh????
Also, we're planning on meeting in hood river in the evening
