Dear Joel,

I'm new in town and looking to paddle.  I've recently moved from Central America/Colorado and havent been on the water since august.  I saw you are planning on going to the Green this weekend and was wondering if I could tag along.  I am a solid class III/IV boater and have been guiding rafts for the past 4 summers (the last 2 on the wenatchee).  I have never done the Green and was wondering if it is play boat friendly?  I have a Riot Air 45, will that do, or do I need something with higher volume?  contact me via email (bwmaiolo@yahoo.com) or call at 970-988-6642  Thanks

You guys have any ambitions of paddling the whole run (Headworks, Gorge
and Yoyo)? I've never done the whole thing and it might make an interesting
day. What do yall think? If not could I leave my car and shuttle with you
guys from Flaming Geyser up? James.. you should come and we can swayak
some of the lower stuff. See you at the pool this evening.

We thought about it but didn't know if it would be too long of a day( I am trying to be back to Bellevue by 3PM...I would be down for probably doing either above or below...which one is better? and sure shuttling with us sounds great the more the better

This is only for Blum's use. (Blum = Nutty Professor)

P = Number of Paddlers

Headworks = Boring + (Play/P)
Gorge = (Fun*P) + (Play/P)
Yo Yo = Boring - (Chit Chat*P)

Headworks + Gorge = Man I'm Glad were doing the Gorge!

Gorge + Yo Yo = Why in the world didn't we get out?

Headworks + Gorge + Yo Yo = Can you pick me up at Paradise please!!!!

Headworks + Yo Yo = (Stinky Car & Wet Seats)*P

Let me know if you have any questions

---yeah. and if you're bringing playboats and actually planning on using them for more than 2 minutes, you may want to wait for a longer day to do all three sections- such as... um, summer solstice or something like that. OR if you want to fit all three runs into one winter day comfortably, I'd sugest bringing wildwater boats. But i doubt anyone has any.

stick with the gorge!
