I know 9:00 is an early start, but it can be a long day, and it gets dark early.

I hate to be a broken record here...but if the level looks good, then my friend Toby and I are in.  I'll post a definite answer tomorrow evening.

Hey !

There's an echo in the room!

After last weekend's goodness, I would gladly make take another trip down the Tilton.  Count me in if levels rise up.

The Tilton is running at 1200. I'm willing ot run it at that level, but not much lower. We'll get some rain tonight, so with luck we'll see higher levels tomorow. What's the general consensus on minimum levels?

1200 sounds good.  Ran it last Jan at that level, and still offers some play as I recall.   Levels look to be rising up - showing promise.

Clearification required on the 9am time thing... is the plan to put on at 9 or leave major metropolitan region at 9am?

Thanks,

chucky chukkles :)

I'd like to meet at the takeout at 9:00, although on second thoughts 10:00 might be more resonable. I'll do a time check later tonight when we make the go/no go decision.

I am new to the area. Was thinking about joining the trip. I havea great shuttle rig. Livingin Seattle (Ballard). Can figure out how to get there, would love some direction tips. Don't know about about cfs level, since I 've never run it. I am highly capable of class III-IV, but would like to know (scout) what I am getting into. Don't mind trying for 9am, 10 sounds better. Let me know if you are interested in having a new - to the NW - paddler join the trip.

Yo Gavin,
Come on down. The Tilton is a III/IV run. It can get a bit hairy at high flows, but I know the lines. If you're comfortable on class IV you'll be fine.

Everyone else,
This trip is ON! Checkin time at the takeout is 10:00.

I will be at the Federal Way Park and Ride by Seatac Mall right off 320th. I will be there at 7:30. I'd love to carpool, it's a long haul. If you'd like to meet there and carpool please call or email so I can get a count of who we need to wait for. \

Here is a map to the park and ride

Otter Boy,

I think the directions are a bit funky. they directed me to re-elect some dude in Pennsylvania. I can try to figure it out myself, but..... I don't really want to get lost.

Oh, by the way, I"M IN!!!!!!!!

I'll hopefully see you at the park and ride.

My cell phone # is (206) 550-0984

Very cool! This is going to be a great day!

Brian, can you follow the link to Google Maps to get to the park and ride? If not, it is right of 320th street in Federal Way, right along I5. You can't miss it.

There seems to be interest in the NF Tilton. I'm totally up for that, especially given how levels are rising. It's at 1800 and climbing right now. We can get a levels check and make the call in the morning.

See ya'll then!
