Hey boaters,
To celebrate Independence Day and thank you for your support in our
first three months, please join us for our First Annual July 4
Boaters' BBQ. The chow, prepared by Chef Tim's river-trained hands,
is on us and starts in the late afternoon. We'll fire up the grill
around 4pm. That's right, NO CHARGE. We'd appreciate an RSVP but
it's not necessary.
The same evening, about 7:30pm, we're featuring the next in Lunch
Video Magazine's series of sensational whitewater videos. LVM
#16, "Attack of the Serfs", has a local hook as it features our boy
Andrew Oberhardt's amazing footage of a landslide on the Sultan
River last December. Plus, #16 features the first female descent of
the Grand Canyon of the Stikine, and much more. For more about LVM,

SCHWAG for the evening -- yeah, more free stuff! -- is provided by
our buds at Danuu, Pyranha, SnapDragon, SealsSkirts, Paddlers'
Supply, and by YOUR buds right here at SRK. More stuff to follow,
and we'll give every SCHWAGGER much love to the crowd.
For those that feel like hanging around to watch fireworks
afterward, we can see public and private displays from all around
Lake Washington. It's an incredible show, and you can watch from the
beach, the roof, or from a boat. We're happy to provide boats from
our fleet at no charge.
