Just wanted to let everyone know, we had a group of 4 cars today at the sky and 2 were broken into.

One car was at the take out and a window was broken, and valuables stolen. We had 3 cars at the put in, one car had a window broken and minor valuables stolen. Great day on the river, but an unpleasant experience once off the river.

Very sorry to hear of this. Could you please be more specific about what put in and take out you were using? Having used Cable for many, many days now this season, as well as Split, this is the first I've heard of this kind of incident this year. Also, was it reported to county sheriff? Not that it makes that much difference now, but it will effect their patrol route. They, the sheriff were in the Cable lot yesterday when I left at 11am.

A friend of mine had his car broken into this afternoon at the split rock takeout. It sounds like it's getting hit regularly right now—watch out.

meth heads ride their bicycles up and down Hwy 2, mainly from Index and up the south fork, down in to Gold Bar and Sultan. I've seen a few almost get taken out by semi's during the summer months while lapping Boulder. sounds like we need a few more cold winters to choke em off a bit!!
