So a buddy and I are new to the WA area. We want to kayak a easy class III since we are both a a little rusty. The Wenatchee is our top choice at the moment due to its proximity to Leavenworth. Is this river a good idea at this time of year? I fear it may be a tad cold. So is there a better option?
He lives in Tacoma and I live in the Tri cities so really doesn't matter where we go as its going to be a drive. So please fire away with ideas and feel free to chime in if you want to join us.

Hard to think of anything that fits the bill better than the Wenatchee at the moment, from both a driving and a boating perspective. I'd say that's your river.
