Was both of our first time. 640 cfs. We put in 2.1 miles upstream of the confluence cause we were unsure of the wood situation upstream. In retrospect it probably would have been fine. Wood situation was pretty good from where we put in on down - everything easily avoidable. The one surprise we had was the mini-gorge as it was hard to see around the corner and walls were too steep to scout. The hole at the bottom was pretty stompy, especially as I unwisely ran the meat. Sucked me right back in and window-shaded me but then mercifully let go.
Fun run! Next time will run from higher up.
