Hopefully it's wrong. But we're due for a bad one anyways. Time to plan some Idaho, Montana, Wyoming or Cali trips!

I like this statement:

"Never assume that the second half of the Northwest snow season will be like the first.

On many years the pattern has reversed, and a poor first half is followed by a bountiful February and March. Seriously. This often happens"

But then, reading on it's all gloom and doom. Saying the polar bears aren't going to like this warmth is probably an understatement.

The last four seasons we've gotten most of our snow in January February March and even April. There's still time for us to get a great snow pack!

Here's some number on Snow Water Equivalent 2014 vs 2015 respectively.
1st number is % of SWE to average. 2nd number % of precipitation (rainfall - inches) to average.

Central Columbia (Wenatchee River)
2014 61%    62%
2015 64%    105%

South Puget Sound
2014   65%    77%
2015   41%    107%

Central Puget Sound (Skykomish)
2014   57%    82%
2015   28%    99%

North Puget Sound
2014   80%   64%
2015   65%   113%

Last year we were simply behind in precipitation and the low snow pack reflected low accumulated precip. The difference this year is we are getting normal precip, but with much warmer weather. Duh.
Hope the trend changes. If not, enjoy it while you can!
