Trying to get a buddy into kayaking. Figure I will do him some justice and not teach him how I learned. Does anyone know of a pool that allows some kayak action near Montesano? The Aberdeen YMCA looked at me like I was a terrorist bent on destroying their pool with an ebola strain bootie scum. I tried to explain to them that the chlorine would only make it stronger and that I was on the verge of creating a super smelly ultra virus but they were unimpressed. I may as well asked them if I could land a float plane on their pool.

The evergreen state college pool used to allow kayaks in the pool. I can't remember when but if you call they might let him in,

Yeah, I learned to roll my canoe there. That likely is the closest place. I'll call.
