from a canoeing friend:
Boat pinned in rapid ~1/2 mile downstream of Doug Fir campground on NF Nooksack. No one injured. Yellow whitewater canoe pinned on river right in “notch” rapid at entrance of canyon. The line through this rapid is on river left so should not be a hazard. Throw rope line may be hanging out of boat. Offering $100 reward for anyone that retrieves boat from river before owner can remove it. Call or text 360-333-5105. Boat may move downriver with changing water levels.

Hey, Kyle - I'd be happy to go try to remove it with you on Sunday (paddling in kayaks). You could keep the reward.

Kris is going to to try a rescue mission to get his boat on Saturday. I am sure he would love a hand. His email is knightkris85@hotmail.com.

I think Lisa was saying that Kris could keep the $100 reward for recovering the boat, not that we could keep the boat.

Got an email today that the boat was found and recovered - it made it down to the green bridge!
------------- More water, please.

Yes, I meant the reward, not the boat ;)
Great to hear that you got it. The river was gorgeous yesterday!
