With temps rising this week watch for the NF Canyon stretch to come into range: http://www.nwrfc.noaa.gov/river/station/flowplot/flowplot.cgi?id=SNGW1
5.0-5.5 is ideal. Look for the Sky to be over 10k at a min. Laps from Drumbeater down a mile are possible with multiple vehicles or shuttle driver. Drive two cars over and leave one at trout crk washout to avoid the long shuttle from Index. There was wood in Lets Make a Deal last year, portage on the right.

When I drove out there last summer (to hike Blanca Lake) you could get all the way down past Howard creek on the road, only missing about the last 1/2 mile of the old run. Please post whether Lets Make a Deal still requires a portage - I plan to run it later this spring if possible.

Great level last night! Still has an easy portage on right at Lets Make a Deal (last rapid in canyon). Otherwise run is clean. Headed back over today.
