Goldmyer Hotsprings posted this a few days ago on their Facebook page:
"We wanted to give you advance warning of a major closing of the access road to Goldmyer from the area near where the road divides into two parallel roads (the “couplet”) up to the area near the Forest Service Middle Fork Campground (about 10 miles). This area is going to be reconstructed and paved by the Federal Highway Administration. The contractors will be working on paving the road over the next three summers. There will be road closure during the summer of 2014 from May 5 through October 31 and during 2015 from May 6 through October 30. The road will be open from 12:00 p.m. on Friday to 12:00 p.m. Monday except of the following period. During the period of July 28 to September 26, 2014 the road will be completely closed, including the weekends also, to facilitate construction of a bridge. During the construction period from May through October of 2016 the road should be open although it may be closed during brief periods. In short, visitors will not be able to drive to the Dingford Creek trailhead except on the weekends during the next two summers and during two months of that period the road will be completely closed. Access to Goldmyer Hot Springs will be available by trails from Snoqualmie Pass. "
This will eventually be sweet for boating, but sounds like midweek afterwork runs might need to start at A-Frame this spring.
