I plan to be at Split Rock Monday by Noon. I'll check this thread in the a.m. and see it anyone expresses interest. If so, I'll stick to the Noon @ Split. Otherwise if its looking like just me, myself & I, my meet time may be slightly later (noonish).
Running out of January days to boat. Gotta get out and boat
Who's in?

Sure- seems like the thing to do these days. (Put in @ River House)
Cool- I'll PM ya some digits so's we can triangulate. I'm not gonna be good for an 11 o'clock meet tomorrow, though-- I'm gonna be draggin ass tired in the a.m. so no sweat if you gotta rally early.
But if noon at Split Rock works, I'll see ya then. I'm coming from upslope, though- so if multiple vehicles are gonna show from the city, in other words, if yall could set shuttle so I could just meet ya in Index, man that would be dope. Let me know.
Stoked for the Sky!

OAC has successfully branded their Index HQ as such.
Arguably a stroke of local riverside marketing genius, as the name seems to have stuck.
Certainly a convienient place to put in and/or rendezvous. Thanks, OAC, for the continued hospitality!
Since Cable Drop became a fee area, its popularity as a put in has waned noticeably.
I used to avoid running the N. Frk when it was below 3500 on the Gbar guage, but honestly the scrapeyness doesn't bug me too much. The South fork definitely holds water better at these low flows, but undeniably the North Fork has more rapids and "points of interest" within those rapids.
I also gotta say I feel a little easier about leaving a rig in downtown index.
On the otherhand, Cable Drop may be one of the most beautiful put ins in Wa. Flatwater pools are Cool. Plus, there is a rapid on the S. Frk named "Paris Hilton" (because the rapid in question is shallow, boney, and has No Class Whatsoever). How cool is that?!
