(Robe Watch November)

Man. No Robetober this year. Just a bunch of fog and pink salmon carcasses underfoot. Not so inclined to get out till there is a cleansing flush. Hopefully sunday, if the gnome hat isn't huge.

But if the updated graph is to be believed, Sunday it'll be 7'. Anyone out there going to be available next monday ot tuesday?

Need a robe lap bad.

Look again....http://www.nwrfc.noaa.gov/river/station/flowplot/flowplot.cgi?GFLW1

only 5.4. But the back and forth forecasting has me guessing too. I'm game for some Sunday morning action.

The forecast graphs cant make up their mind. Looks to be a really big spike now :)

HahahA!!

No doubt- its bigger than it originally was...
Oh, how I have grown to love the suspense in the lead-up to these rain events...

We'll have to wait n see, as usual

So I'm just gonna throw it out there-- if it spikes to 8' on su.day, who will be available to catch it on the downslope on, say, Monday?

If Sunday ends up being in the garden variety flow range, I'm down (or, if it spiked early and was sloping down to 6.5' or less I'm down).

Otherwise monday or tuesday I could be available.

Hmm. Doubtful about the Pilchuck, but Deer Crk could be cool if it boots up.

Also, I should like to express interest in a possible Saturday robe lap. Catch it on the early side of the upswing perhaps?

The Sky is predicted to spike nicely by Sunday, and with a dropping snow level to around 3000 feet , Top Tye would also be a great option for Sunday.

Jp, I plan to paddle the Robe spike late Saturday afternoon. Stoked!

Well I trust you all enjoyed some healthy action out there.
Anyone available tomorrow for some Robe? If it tapers off slow I'd like to run it. As long as its 5.2' or higher.

Hit me up!!

Edited for typos. I can't abide a typo.

Missed a great day !! fluffy kittens everywhere..
there was one horizontal piece of wood teetering above the slot to hole in the wall but easily duckable...

Hmm. Good to know.
Yeah, I know- it was a good fat flow.

I just haven't boated in about a month and wasn't feeling like breakin back in at 5.8'. I woulda had fun, but I didn't want that much action. I want to go in at a standard medium, like a 5.4' or 5.5' and get my chops sharpened a little. There are gonna be more Gnome Hats marching our way...

Saying it again- I'll boat it as low as 5.2' tomorrow if it drops to that. Anyone wanting to get it tomorrow hit me up!!
