Is it a red canoe?

I saw it today too, and yes, it is a red canoe.

It's been migrating down the river....

We might have halted its migration for a while.  Stashed it up the bank on river right above the slalom course rapids.  Flatwater canoe.  Took a beating, and the thwarts and rails were damaged, but the hull seems intact.

Yah that thing was all fu*ked up, wrapped around some rock.  Can anyone say GAPER?  Anyone know who was paddling that thing?

I think one of the folks with a place on the river had it sitting on the shore, positioned well above the late-summer flows, and had it washed away when the flows shot up in response to the September rains.
