I'll be teaching a friend how to roll a kayak this weekend and he asked what to do about his contacts. Well, I have no idea what he should do about his contacts. I have 20/20 vision.
So, what do kayakers do about this dilemma? I would imagine that whitewater would flush contacts out.
Obviously my friend who is learning how to roll will not be doing whitewater any time soon, but at some point he will, and I would like to have him start thinking about how to deal with the contacts and all. Some help please. Thanks folks.

He will be fine just tell him to not leave his eyes open under water for long periods of time

Bring a spare set, just in case you lose one!

I use goggles sometimes, they might be handy if you are learning to roll
