seems like i keep bringing bad news. this time the rapid below hole in the wall is screwed!
the river left line is out (normal line - i guess people are calling this rapid dead dear?). normal line is completely blocked, and won't know for sure if right side goes until flows drop (and able to see what's up with the landslide wood from a couple weeks ago).
also, there are a few other minor landslides and some misc wood in places. it seems like it would be a good idea to keep an eye out the next several weeks - extra caution.

be safe,
darren

Update: 3/19/13
The river right side of the rapid below Hole in the Wall is wood free. The left side still has a branch-less log spanning the channel. At 5.75 it looks like you could get underneath it - scout first. The right channel is boney and pinny at 5.75 - I would expect it to be a bad option below 5.5.
It's probably gonna change again tomorrow anyways.

Has anybody been down since a couple of days ago with a timber update? Looks like a good weekend for robe with sunny skies

for anyone that hasn't heard or seen for themelves, the wood mentioned on this post (on the left side) is out of play. Saturday was around 5.5 or 5.6 and it was not an issue, no scouting necessary if you know the normal line.

It would be interesting to see where the threshold is for it to come into play. Darren mentioned around 5.75
