Forecasts had a nice spike that never occurred, meaning there really isn't the snowpack to support it, or the melt never occurred.
I'm hoping for the latter.
Looking for flexibility (dual meaning, my back is tweaked today) this weekend to hit it at prime flows. If that means early or late, so be it. Days are over for generalization of "....at the T-O @ 11." Spikes are spikes and if we get one, I want to catch it with some water in there once more.
That said, looks like a not to sunny (melter) weekend, so who knows......
Even some rain will boost, so who else is game to go for the goods while the goods are still there for those who persist?
As well, I know it isn't FITW or anything of the like, but I've only got boats for this sort of requirement.
I'm up for multiple laps on whichever day looks best. More apt to do that than single laps both days.

I'm up for a lap or 3.
Shall we hire a shuttle bus that serves pizza and beer?

Yeah, and if they deliver vicodin, percocet, and/or valium that'd be even better.
My back is wrecked, and I can't figure out why. Nor how. I still will most likely be there tomorrow, but if so will be paddling mellow.
Anybody got some pharmaceutical help to offer? Seriously, I popped a bunch of OTC stuff to no relief. Getting kinda worried.....

You should rest Mr. Grinch. When my body speaks to me like that, I listen. It's actually been kinda nice not paddling for a couple of weeks because my shoulder needed the rest and I was able to catch up on some other things. But now that I'm rested up, the next paddle is probably going to be awesome because I'll be feeling strong again and I'll be able to paddle hard. These rivers have been around for years and they always come back. I'm looking forward to many years of paddling and sometimes I've got to rest. During the winter months I'll pick up a gym membership again and start working out. That gives me the opportunity to build muscle, strengthen core muscles, stretch, run, work on balance, and other such things as I prepare for the Spring time run off.
Take care of the back yo! See you soon.

Rest indeed. Playboating can be hard on a body. Want to take the Linx II? We won't put any seats in it, so you can just lay in it and float.
I think I can make 11:00.

I wont make 11AM. My girlfriend and I will probably get a late start. We might catch up with y'all on the river or we might hook up with anyone doing a second lap

I expect we'll be finishing our first run between 1:30 and 2:30. Maybe we'll see you out there.
Keith... the magic bus is on the way...
