Come on!!!!!!! The Green is running for one last time!!!! Please, someone run the upper with me tomorrow afternoon!!!! PLEASE!
Hopefully it will hold through tomorrow. I could meet as early as 3 pm and later if needed. Everyone, this will be probably the last chance to hit it before its gone. JP? Anyone, I need my fix or I may freak out.... ------------- Nomad |

I could probably be talked into a Thursday afternoon run....supposed to rain all week, Oh, and you really should branch out a bit Dave.

You are too kind, Brig! But, some boaters value the convienience of their local haunts. I've gone round and round w/ Dave about this. I give up. Well, I checked the Green guage today around 5:30p and it read about 1650 or so. I was tempted to go right then and there if it meant putting on at 7pm. I elected to continue about my non-river biznez instead. Much as I'd like to go tomorrow, I think it will go similarly. I'm gonna meet some friends after work for happy hour before leaving the Greater Green River Valley for... Greener pastures. So alas, my Green season is probably over. And what a fine season it ended up being for quality flows in the Upper Gorge. Exceeded my expectations. PPeeps should rally Dave's call though- tis a quality run. I have to work and these runs are in my backyard, that is how I kayak over 200 days a year. More than most other kayakers. ------------- Nomad |
