Here I am trying to plan another trip to the White Salmon area. Is anybody going to this event? Do you have any info to share about this event? Looks like a great weekend to be up there and run the middle stretch of the White Salmon. Here is a link that gives you info about the event:

Race is next weekend, on Sunday June 3rd. It'll be a team race in two legs. Spectators typically hike into Boulder Sluice and/or Spirit Falls. Not sure what flows are this minute but I bet they will be in the 3.3-3.5 range. Great first time level for those that are ready. |

Okay, my wife and I are officially heading out to this. Just changed the oil in the truck and gave it a wash down. On top of that we're doing a camping inventory.

I believe that the race is on Sunday so that means boating all day Saturday and probably some on Sunday. |

| It'll be more like 2pm for me. Hopefully sooner. My wife and I have decided to camp and we will be getting set up first then I'll head on over to Husum Falls to be there hopefully before 2pm. Any ideas on a good camping spot? I'd love to have an idea of what's up before I go out there and just drive around until I find something. |
