I'm heading to the put in for the upper Green after work Tuesday. Would anyone like to join me. To be honest, I wouldn't mind surfing Paradise for a couple of hours. I keep hearing very good things about that wave at these levels (1400). I was in it at 1250 just the other day and was able to bust out a few tricks. But I had already tired myself out by running the upper so I didn't last long in Paradise.
However, if no one is up for that then I'd be more then happy to run the entire stretch. Traffic was rough the last time I went Paradise and I didn't get there until 5:15. So, I guess I can say that I'll be down there between 4:50 and 5:15.

Did someone say juicy? MM juicy! What!?
I'm still new around here so I haven't heard any hype about MM at all (or maybe I haven't been paying attention). What should I know about this run?
What are stellar levels? I'm starting to know plenty about upper green? Is MM more of a runoff river whereas green is controlled by a dam?

I'd also like to hear more about "FITWAH!"

Check out the MM. MM at low flows is class three boulder gardens but at its current flow it is a bit more pushy with some nice waves and big holes. At over 3 grand I think the MM is more fun than the green at 1400.

The MM is a fun play run at these levels.
FITW is a great creek run right at the top of Snoqualmi Pass. Fall in the Wall, South Fork of the Snoqualmi.

Sweet. We have officially highjacked this thread
You know that's the case when multiple individuals start planning to run the Middle Middle on a thread devoted to the Green.
Seriously, tho- this kinda sh*t isn't cool. Its not fair to those clicking on a thread about the Green wanting to run it then finding us all talking about the Mediocre Fork of the Snoqualmie.
(Shrug). Do as I say, not as I do...
Anyway, IMO no water level on the M&M is as good as any flow on the Green above 1600. The geology just isn't as sweet, no matter how you add water or take it away. I'm just hittin the MM tonight to return some gear to a buddy. Not sure about meet time tho-

I think the hi-jacking was hilarious. made for a more interesting thread. I was seriously going to run the MM but then, suddenly, water levels came up on the green and I started feeling a bit confused like dave (glad I wasn't the only one).
But! since this was originally a thread for running the green then I'll stick to the original plan. it's official, I'm making up my mind. I'll be at paradise around 5.

Think this flow will hold on the Green wed & thurs, or should this be gotten today?

We are scheduled for a speed run down the MM. Meeting at 7 pm at the takeout. Long boat high speed paddle workout, so floaters wont be able to keep up with us.

I don't see the confusion. As I clearly stated in one of my posts with utmost conviction:
2000 on the Upper Green = way better than any flow the MM has to offer. No contest! So have fun out there. I got to return gear to Rutang on the MM, but secretly I want to flake out and hit the Green. (I won't- I shall go complete my anual token Middle Middle run).
Flows on the Green will hold. Therefore, expect to see me out there Wednesday!! Maybe Thursday too.
FITWAH!!!
Steep Creeking in Miniature... Definitely want a creekboat for that run. Its the only place I've ever truly needed elbow pads. Once I forgot them and paid the price, anyway, so maybe thats why I feel that way. Soon soon soon...

Ok- I admit it: the middle middle is fun too. At least at tonight's flow, whatever numeric value it was. But, the Green is just special when it has water in it. Therefore I'll be out on it wed, thurs, or both. Probably be at Paradiso at 5:15pm.
