gonna be in Leavenworthless this weekend and maybe friday. Anyone wanna run ingalls/peshastin? I'll be teaching guide training during the day sat and sun, but could rally an afternoon lap.

Ran it Monday evening. There is a rather large log off the right side of the right channel just after the split above the confluence. That, and all other minor wood we saw on the banks, was easily seen and avoided.
We put in just below the first major drop on Ingalls (~100yds below the bridge). There was wood above there so scout that. The wood didn't keep us from running that section, just nerves 
Of course everything could have changed since then so be on your toes. |

Ran it Monday at 3.8 with some guy Dan from Ingalls bridge down. Not sure if it was That Guy Dan or some other guy Dan. Anyway no wood of concern at 3.8 other than the usual debris at the head of the island, easily avoided.
I live in Wenatchee and would be up for it Friday-Sunday. Heading up there today after work (Thursday) if you are around about 1700 at TO.

When you say 3.8 I assume your referring to a stick gauge somewhere on either Ingalls or Peshastin? I've always used the Wenatchee at Peshastin gauge. Where is that stick guage?

There's a gauge on Peshastin. https://fortress.wa.gov/ecy/wrx/wrx/flows/station.asp?sta=45F070 I assumed he meant this gauge.... although according to this gauge it was about 3.4 Monday. (and more like 3.8 tues/wed). But there is a stick gauge on the run somewhere too. Sounds like a pretty high flow to me... in the past anything over 2.7 is getting pretty juicy. |

what sort of correlation is there to wenatchee at peshastin? In the past I liked the wenatchee to be in 9,000-13000 range, 13000 feeling medium high. ------------- The line will become apparent 978-273-7723 |

Jed, it depends on the timing. Early in the season is more water than late in the season, since Peshastin has a lower drainage than the other Wenatchee tribs... it melts off earlier. This time of year you can be OK with the Wenatchee around 4k... but in June 9,000 or more is usually right. |

I was referring to the real time internet gauge mentioned earlier in the thread. Call it whatever you want, we ran it in the evening. For reference if you have run it before; we had to give a little duck to get under the metal bridge in the bottom section, so highish. Super fun though and personally I think under 2.7 is getting on the med-low to low side. It's all about preference though! |
