Thinking of heading out to Rock Creek this weekend. Anyone done that one since the ice storm? Crossing my fingers the gorge won't be full of wood... since you can't really hike out... any info much appreciated!

There is a bit more than last year. Wood just above the 8' drop in the upper section, some new wood around the Slide Cr. bridge, one new log portage in the section below the bridge. There is still the same log in the Gorge in the lower section but I was able to get over it on the left. Scout first though. Some new wood on the right in the big triple drop and again above the take-out bridge.
There are a couple places that are runnable now that were blocked last year but in general, yes, there is more wood, a lot will probably move or has moved since I was there. I still had fun but the work to fun ratio is definitely higher and might be too high for some folks.

Which Rock Creek is this? Lewis, Latah, or Columbia?

woops, I'm an idiot. The end of topic titles get cut off in the recent posts column and I usually don't look once I've opened it.
Have fun out there.
