So... I was looking at Google Earth and noticed some rapids above the Headworks section of the Green. It's above the Headworks dam but below the Howard Hanson Dam. What's the story?

It is in the watershed so you can't be there. They run helicopters and all sorts of surv. I am pretty sure at one time they had homing pigeons with laser guided cameras but you would need to ask royhprum. He says he boats up there pretty regularly.

I have hiked into Lester to check out the river but I was stopped by an official before I could actually start moving down stream towards hanson.

The only person that I know who has actually done it is FranzHorner. If I remember right he said there were a few III or II drops but it was mostly a braided river up there.
