Does anyone know what the wood situation is in tatlow creek, the box canyon of the ashlu, or the mine run on the ashlu? What is a good flow to request for a box canyon release?

Tatlow: Wood situation is good, same as last year. Most paddlers are portaging the drop below Wall Drug and the one with the big old growth. All the other lines are clean (at least as of 2 weekends ago) Box: Also clean, no wood. Only line that seems to be different is the manky last rapid of the first canyon - best run left. 20 cms is a great medium flow, but will still fell pushy in a few spots. 23 felt cleaner and more filled in. Liquidlore.com is the place to go for beta on the box and releases.

Correction: the first portage on Tatlow is right above Wall Drug Also, there is a small log on RR of the rapid I referred to on the Box. That's partly why left is the best line.
