Meeting up for a run down the Carbon yesterday, Fish and I were cruising through the Renton PnR looking for parking and passed a shady lookin dude messing with a truck. He faked like he was on his phone after we saw him effing with the door handle. We swung through again and the window was smashed and he was laying down on the front seat. Fish stopped and I got out and walked up to the guy and asked him what he was doing. With glass shards all over him, a 12" screwdriver in hand, working the stereo loose, he said, "I'm taking care of some business, wuh choo need?" I said I was gonna take care of some business, too. Fish called 911 and I stood next to the truck, waiting for the fuzzz!! fu*k yeah, it was a sweet moment. I could feel that punk gangster sweating bullets, while I stood next to the truck, wondering what his exit plan was going to look like. He got out of the truck just as four of his friends walked up. They started walking down the street and within 90 seconds 3 units FLEW past us and NAILED THOSE GANGSTER PUNKS!!! fu*k yeah!! It was sweet. fu*k you, punks!! Crime DOESN'T pay when Starsky and Hutch are around!!!! I even slid across Fish's hood.

Tell me you guys snapped a photo of the dude or dudes?
I say that because they are going to be back on the streets in about a week and since I am in Renton around that zone all the time I would like to know who they are.

I don't agree about the beat down. But I do agree about the truck owner and if anyone is allowed to exact a punishment it should not be the police but the owner that was offended...

James, Fish and I talked about that later. Next time I will take video!! There were five teens, the main kid was 5'6" to 5'8", looked like Ice Cube, had kind of a deep voice, a backpack, a little carhart-style skull cap and a big hoodie. Pretty close hair cut, too. Two other guys were skinny, lighter-skinned blacks who had each grown their hair out and put hair product in it to make it straighten. Might be brothers or related. They were also wearing baseball caps and backpacks. The other two were younger and a little smaller. They just looked like they were hanging out and didn't seem particularly seedy, more like just regular kids hanging with bad ones. Carbon is a sick run!! Thanks Dave!
Horner, yeah they did. The young punks all scattered and ran. 12 units in total responded to the mass an-er-kee that was erupting before us. When they drove me around to ID the kids, they held all of them down and let me pepper spray them. I was getting fancy towards the end and shot the spray over a cop's shoulder at one kid, but I twitched a little and caught him in the forehead and on the side of his face a little. There was some cunfusion that followed and that allowed me a moment to slip back to car that brought me. He drove me back to the Park and Ride, then it was time for the Carbon!!

This is the wrong thread for that ... but if you must know. The way the system is setup everytime I create a run or even start a river's title it logs it as a submission. So indeed I have not made 2500+ submissions of beta but I have created 2500+ rivers/runs for people to update. Like those ones in http://professorpaddle.com/rivers/riverlist.asp?stateid=74 - Hondy that are waiting for you!

HAHA he was kiddin about the pepper spray... But this was a great Karma building experience. I would not reccomend the Renton Park & Ride for meeting up, between our Starsky and Hutch moment and all the other broken glass on the ground throughout the lot, this place is obviously a high break in area.

Amen to that! I too have been personally affected bye "Thieving Bastards" in 2010 when my 2008 Honda CRF 450R was stolen off the back of my truck (locked on with 2 seperate cable locks) setting me back about $8,000. So as someone who knows how bad it stings to get ripped off THANK YOU for not just looking the other way!

It was my pleasure, believe me. It was like a video game called "Who Turned On The Police?" I'm sorry you guys got ripped off and believe me I was thinking of a lot of break-ins that have happened over the years, in the moment. I was gonna mess with that punk more, but I didn't want to get shot. Who knows these days. Keeping it REAL in Renton, Crime Fightin' Creekers... at your service.
How about the "Bust a punk/drink a beer" program?
