I hear the Truss is at 3.3. No word yet on the flow for LW but it should be at good.

I think we're headed down Saturday around 9am, which puts me at the Little White takeout at 1. Anyone else thinking of going down? We'll be coming back Monday evening and probably have room for 1-2 more.

Just got word that levels are somewhere in the high 3s to low 4s.

A little chilly but still a fun weekend. Levels in the 3.6ish range. Even paddled with JP out there, nice work!
Changes of note to the Little White Salmon:
-Entrance rapid to Gettin' Busy is a little woodier than last year. Recommended portage on the left
-Island Rapid is a no go on the left due to wood. Take the far right channel

Thanks for posting up changes ... bummer, I thought maybe the last round of high water would have pushed some of that wood mess at the top of GBusy down river.  I am assuming wood is still in the Sturn drop-sweet boof on L and at base of drop?

Any word on changes in Truss... wood still in lower ZZ?

S-turn: I didn't notice the wood on the left landing zone, but it definitely could still be there. Yes, that stupid log on the left of the runout is still there, despite the large cuts sawed into it by some enterprising paddlers.
Truss: JP said something about the wood on lower ZZ still being essentially the same. Can't remember enough of the other details to post them here.

FYI three large pieces of wood have relocated themselves in the Truss. None of them are in play in any notable spots (well, the worst one is now down on the Orletta stretch. If that piques anyone's interest I'll expound on that later.)

the 'Ol Leaner in Lower Zig Zag is still there, and X still marks the spot at the runout for this rapid. This rapid remains the only significant rapid with wood issues.

Fiddler, I am still down with the possibility of boating the El Dub this weekend, although it may be subject to some sh*t I got to take care of and/or the temperature. They are calling for snow and I have many snow filled boating days peppering my lifetime of paddling. If it's too cold and/or too high I will pass. But the meet time is noted and I hope to see you there.

Great getting out there with you last week!

Just got your pm. Meet time? I don't think I'm headed down there this week, too much stuff up here to run. I'll be down there soon though, winter is the best LW season.

yeah it just got frosty down here again. think I picked the wrong winter to camp down here. not gonna try to get out today - I'd rather work since I got a little.

fiddlesticks, be sure to keep me posted when you rally down next. it is prime season afterall.
