Dave and Jesse, if you are going to be heading out on Friday, let me know. The Green still looks good, if no one really wants to drive up to the Sky...

I would love to paddle the Green, I still have not done it :) So if you guys don't mind showing me the lines, I'm in!!!

Jesse, I'm no expert on the Green, but Dave is. Although he takes more challenging lines than I'm comfortable with he can still point you in the right direction. Anyway, the upper looks a little low now, but the lower would still be fun and it requires less guidance. How does that sound? 11:00? 12:00? At Flaming Geyser?

Of course you can come! Sounds good to me, I'm going to give Dave a call and see what he wants to do. Blair & Brett, are you guys interested in paddling the Green tomorrow? I'd rather do the upper section, but if it's not in.... Then I would be interested in doing the lower run. Noon sounds good to me, however, I would meet earlier if peeps have plans.

I would be up for running the Upper Green Gorge. I've done it at 850 before and it's fine. The routes are all the same but there are a couple rapids that you'll scrape a rock or two on. Pipeline actually become a bit harder because you have to punch the hole. If others are up for the Upper I am too. I would like at least 3 people to go though.

Dave, would you be interested in doing the upper? I'm down for it... If we don't figure this out, as in the lower or upper, we could always meet at flaming gyser state park and decide there... Sounds like fun though! When you paddle the upper or lower at this level, do you all take your creek or play boat?

I'm up for the upper...or down for the upper... Whatever. If Courtney says it's good then I'm in. If we're all happy with the upper let's meet at paradise at 11:00.

I'm good to go for Upper or Lower. I'll still assume we're meeting at FGSP @11. Otherwise, Jessie gimme a call if that changes. Looking forward to it!!

OK, I am back from Oregon and filled my belly and am now looking at plans for tomorrow.
Let us meet a Flaming Guyser at 11am and we will see who is up for what there.
The upper is pretty low, so probably just the lower tomorrow.

Oh, either way I would bring your creek boat...it is going to be cold tomorrow and I am using my creek boat warmer and more comfy...

Are you kdding Dave? Bring your play boat so you can have more fun playing since the rapids will be smaller. Otherwise all you'll do is go splash, splash and get a little surf here and there. Also, Jella and Aaron, don't listen to Dave. The Upper is plenty fun at this level. I don't want to commit though because personally I find the lower to be kind of ho humm at this level. If the Upper was a sure thing then I could commit.

I aggree, but I am not doing any playboating when it is 20 F outside. I would rather be warm and comfy in a creekboat. I am just getting out to get some excersize and enjoy the outdoors today, not trying to get any serious ww...plus, it is not very comfy in a playboat for 10 miles of flatwater on the lower, my feet would be frozen!

Well I have to agree with you there. It's not very comfortable and my feet do get cold. Hope you all had a good time today.
