Let me know what you think. I am going to put in an order for some stickers and so I figured I could do this at the same time.

Yeah, I'd buy one.
It would be great if we could put the photos up for a vote and use the 12 most popular.

I will most likely get one but I am awfully tempted to get the 2011 women of rock climbing, since it inspires me in so many ways

Yeah, I'm not much of a calendar guy. By that I mean the hang it up somewhere important and write important things on it. My calendar is on my phone now that I live in the 21st century. The other calendar I use is a day planner. Honestly not trying to be a smart ass- just saying.
The real deal breaker is that I have no money and can't seem to earn any in this current job climate. If I lived in the world I thought I'd be living in just a few years ago, I'd have a disposable $20 bill once in a great while and would like to get one.
Honestly I'm wondering if I'll make it to see 2011.

I am glad there are some no's cause the poll started out with just yes options. i added a no because quite honestly considering the economic situation I figured a no is just as valid as a yes and it has little to do with the desire, value or support of a calendar. Like you said JP it boils down to will I use it and do I really want to spend my money that way.
I know I will see 2011 but I don't have a clue what I will see in 2011....

the MWA (missouri whitewater association) does a calendar every year that I buy. They are awesome, but also a TON of work with photoshop.

I like having a real calendar, I can write appointments on it, quickly look at it for planning purposes, see what stage the moon is in, and see when holidays are at easily. At work it is nice to have a calendar to use and even better if it has something on it I like to look at. At home, I like one on the wall so I can plan my time off from work. Paper calendars are much easier to use than an electronic one, plus they don't need batteries...and they don't crash...but what do I know, I am just a business man that works all the time...

I'm with ya on all points here JP. But I do like to have something nice hanging on the wall.
Usually I just get a snowboarding calendar - there's plenty to choose from. A PNW kayak calendar would be a nice change of pace.

You forgot to mention that paper calendar's, opposed to online ones like on gmail, are much safer from ID theft! Thieves knowing all your plans and who's who in your life are sure to steal your identity, and possibly your calendar! This won't happen with a sweet paper version of a white water calendar!

Just curious did anyone end up buying one besides me?
I was surprised at how large it was. I was surprised by the size. I thought it would be smaller.
I should have considered the measurements before designing it. Sorry about all the edits... just trying to avoid the inevitable "that's what she said"

Why is it so expensive? Calendars are typically about $12 or so aren't they?

It's shweeet!! I ordered one. This coupon code worked for 30% off - SEASON305 - you have to wait until the very last page to apply it. I hope that doesn't cut into your bottom line James.

There is no bottom line... lol, it is a cost neutral venture. PP paid nothing and gains nothing, I paid nothing - well I paid for a calendar and I got a calendar but we don't get any $$$ on the side. The calendar is pretty pricey because the thing is quite large, well alot bigger than any calendar I have hung on the wall.
Has anyone actually received the calendar yet? I am curious what folks think about the size and quality.

Just got my calendar! Bigger than I expected (TWSS), great pictures. Overall it gets the thumbs up from this guy.

What is TWSS?
I thought the same thing Yotes, when I saw the box I though whoa they packed this pretty good, then I pulled the calendar out and thought dang ... did I really make it this big it is almost like a poster. If I do that again I might need to pick the smaller size.
