Hello All!

It's that time of the month again! Every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7pm, at AquaSports there's a Whitewater Movie Night. Don't forget to put it on your calendar! :-)

Tuesday 12 October 2010
AquaSports, 7pm
Whitewater Movie Night

Given that it's October and All Hallow's Eve is coming, I think it's only appropriate to have a Halloween snacks-themed Movie Night, which of course will be provided!!  Remember to bring yourself, your friends, family, significant others, etc..., and BYOB.

Hope to see you there!!
-Gwendolyn

"BYOB"?

Bring your own beer/beverage?

Or, bring your own boat?

Dan- BOYB = Bring Your Own Booze. There will be other beverages available

Jeff- That would be great! Bring whatever movies you want to see at any of the movie nights-- In fact, I encourage that from anyone who has a movie they want to see or share-- even your own! Just make sure it's on DVD format

Thanks guys, and I hope to see you tomorrow!!

'There Will Be Cake'

(No, not the movie version of my life story, although it could be.) I will be bringing cake.

Nice job everyone, if I could meet up with someone I would hand off a few tshirts to give away as a door prizes but I can't be up there tomorrow. Lydia's Bday is tomorrow and were doing a super special celebration!

Well I hate not having enough food, especially when we're talkin' cake, so I figured I would bring vanilla and chocolate.  So I think you're safe with virtually any type of beer.

James- Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Maybe we can coordinate for November? Or better yet, if you're available, you and the Family should come!! I hope Lydia's birthday party went well!

Thank you Gwendolyn for organizing again, and for everyone who showed up, it was a great time and there is still some cake left at AquaSports for any of you who are thinking of stopping by this week. :)

Next movie night we are up for showing your own 'homegrown' kayaking clips if any of you are working on them (Gordon?) so please keep that in mind, I think it would be cool to see what people are doing, we've got some great local talent.  Carnage would also be acceptable of course.

My guess is that there is a TON of cake left, tho the dogs were doing a good job of snarfin' in the dark there...yo- even my non-boating wife (she's a sculler) had a good time. Who would have guessed? Thanks Gwendolyn, Charles and Irene.

Home made movies? Sounds kinda, ya know, nasty
