Well that confounding S. Frk Stilly graph is all over the map again-- hopefully towards the end of the week it'll settle down. It currently looks like the Hair Doo from some UK punk rocker circa 1978...

All spikes and not the kindly waves I'm looking for. Snarled facial expression to boot.

But, maybe in three days or so, catch it on the downslope. So I am activating the Robe Watch (THE first of the now popular "watch" series of threads, I might add).

So: who's gonna wanna get their Robe on?
Sam- if, like, you aren't going in there at 7' or some similarly god-awful absurdly high flow, maybe I could meet you in Index and we could Carpool sometime.

Lastly, all you Robers please humor your uncle jP, hmm? Anytime we see these bigger spikes or successive spikes, we know The Robe Gnomes may be revising the river bed to keep things interesting.

Left Side of Hole in the Wall still flushes, but its getting chundery, just to name an example. And Conversation is turning into an argumentative affair: it seems like every hole in there (at least three or four in particular) are gradually becoming more and more meaty. Remember to stay sharp and don't take for granted that a new hazard doesn't exist where it used to not exist, but might now exist. Keep an eye on your buddies in there.

With most other rivers too low, it looks like a great day for some low Robe.    Who wants to paddle today?

Looks like Robe will be shooting up to seven feet pretty quickly tomorrow. Anyone want to rally early, before it gets crazy?

Aw man!!

Gonna be some good Robe water tomorrow! Graph looks good for tomorrow, but it is raining between Everett n Lake Stevens, so who knows-- it could beef up a bit overnight.

11am at T.O.
