I got my fingers crossed she will come up for Saturday. It shouldn't explode with the rain tonight and tommorow.

Hoping for levels between 650-1000, higher than that and EF Lewis is on the way.
Meeting time is for vehicle compression, a 7 meet there means a 10-1030 put in, and 2 laps would be sweet!

I hope it comes up for you guys, but it has been a very slow start to the season.  We need a lot more rain then what we have had all week to make her prime and wet.  Drop me a line and drop by for and borrow a DragoRossi Creeker, check out the hot new Nookie Gear, or some whiskey and hot tubb'n on saturday if you wish, i would love to join ya, but I am on baby duty that day.

I am in, assuming I don't get delayed reurning from LA tomorrow evening, and assuming the levels hold...

I'll confirm tomorrow afternoon. Probably will revert to the sky as a backup plan.

The level is coming back down, it should be in a great range for Saturday. There is no significant rain in the forecast between now and then.
It is gonna be a cold one though.
Hopefully a few other peeps decide they want to come!

I'd love to get on canyon creek.  Is there a carpool option available? I'm near Southcenter.

I may be into this.  It will be a (LONG) day trip for me though.

Anyone else want to day trip from Seattle or south of Seattle?

Ryan, REI's not really on my way but I've got room.  If you want to meet south of Seattle I can meet you at the DuPont Starbucks.  Give me a call if you want to carpool from there.

Haven't been on it b/f but would love to step up. Is this a decent level for 1st time?

Sounds like y'all are planning for two trips and this would be a step up for me, should I defer to a later day when a newbie won't have the chance of slowing y'all down?

So, since I am still in LA and won't get to bed tonight until after midnight, I am out. Count me in for the next trip (next weekend) - I am going to miss not going tomorrow.

Gordon - the sky doesn't require me to get up so early - what time are you going to put on? Also, happy to carpool from seattle. Call me.

Just a question or two; The gage being used is for the E. Fork Lewis, But the USGS gage for Canyon Creek only reads 400 cfs. Is that a little low? Is the CC gage above a confluence? Do you go more by the correlation with the Lewis? Again, just want to know.

Don't fool yourself its going to be low...  I don't think we know what to do with the CC gauge yet (if you're talking about the new realtime gauge)...

Matta, as far as I am concerned you are welcome.

It is going to be a low water run, if it keeps falling off like it has been it will be between 6-7 tomorrow, and colder than shit.

I am still in, meeting a few people at the REI in Tacoma at 7 as planned, we can carpool from there.

  See ya in the am

The level still loks good, I drove by it earlier, but it is dropping a bit.  It has been in the low 30's in the am, and warms up to 40 around 3ish in the afternoon.  Have fun Ya'all.  FYI, if it turns out to dry up by the time you folks are down here, there is a good sized group doing the E Fork, meeting at Sunset @ 1000.
