I might be convinced, flows look like they'll be on the low end, but everything should be running (except maybe peshastin).

I've found in my experience that the lower doesn't really go until @ least 5K on pesh.  And that's low.  Then the upper is sorta in but also a bit of bumping.  Around 4K is a good medium flow for richochet (though I've not run this long rapid) and Bonus Rounds.  Horseshoe is still retentive enough to surf a plug.

I ran lower Icicle last Saturday and it was good to go. Sure, there were teeth showing but there was plenty of water.

The middle run was in too. I didn't run it, but I filmed friends running it (in Catboats!!! and one in an IK) including Ricochet. That was a blast to watch. 3 catboaters cleaning up on Ricochet.... and they weren't able to hit the sneak lines...it was all down the gut. IKer cleaned it too, but with more conservative lines.

I think I'll have to join you guys (at least on friday night and saturday's runs). Usual spot if the gate's open?

Gate wasn't open last weekend.  My guess is it will be May when they do get around to opening it.

I don't have the footage myself. It was Dave and Shelly Becker's camera that I was shooting with... and they are on their way to some class 5 stuff in Cali, so I don't know when they'll have the footage ready, but I'm sure they'll be posting it soon.

Oh, and if you haven't checked it out yet, Shelly is on the cover of the March issue of Paddler.

Wow, three Leavenworth weekend threads seems overkill to me.

I'm planning on a morning run ,9:30 or so, on the Lower Icicle and an afternoon run, around 2, on the Upper Wenatchee (Plain down to the Tumwater bridge) for beginners (Sven?).  I'll post the trips in an hour or so unless anyone has another suggestion.

Saturday.  I'll bring a helmet for you.   Unfortunately my wife will be using the boat I was going to lend you on the Lochsa (she is not ready for that river).  Any word on a ride yet?

I'll be out this weekend, leving Friday afternoon.  I still don't have the rack on my truck yet, but can get 1-2 playboats in the back.  Anyone interested in carpooling, call me at 206-618-6253.
